Manual focus:
--------------
Focus peaking has been moved closer to where it makes sense. Now you can switch between focus peaking modes (OFF, TRANSIENT, PERSISTENT) by tapping a button on the left side of the value selector when adjusting the focus. Together with the focus peaking, we also added a focus loupe option, which can be controlled by the button on the right side of the value selector.
External lenses:
---------------
In this release we added support for Loupe System lenses. The name of the lens is added to the LensModel in EXIF header
Bug fixes:
----------
- Enhanced processing was disabled for the manual exposure mode to prevent unexpected iso/shutter speed values in EXIF header
- Fixed the exposure bracketing mode bug for processed output formats (JPG/HEIC) which sometime would produce images with clipped highlights
- Fixed the bug with focus and exposure reticles being visible even when manual modes are used
- Small visual enhancements

Jan 20, 2021 Version 2021.1
Welcome the first release of 2021. In this release:
Support for ProRAW format.
=====================
On iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max you can now select ProRAW format in Photo, Focus Bracket, Exposure Bracket, and Combined Bracket capture modes. The ProRAW format can be combined with JPG and HEIC processed formats too (but not TIFF at the moment). Always remember that the ProRAW format takes a considerable amount of space on your iOS device and takes longer to capture and process.
Front camera mirror option.
====================
Many of you requested a possibility to have the output of the front camera in a mirrored orientation. Now you can activate the Mirror Front Camera setting in the CameraPixels setting screen. When the option is activated, the output photos and videos will have the same orientation as you see it in the viewfinder.
External lens selector.
====================
The CameraPixels app is top-rated among focus stacking enthusiasts, and it's not uncommon to use an external lens in such photography. In this release, we introduce the external lens selector (Olloclip lenses) that allows saving the external lens name to the EXIF header of each captured photo. We'll be adding new external lens support in future releases.
Bug fixes
===================
We also fixed a few bugs that sneaked inside the previous build. If you find a bug or have suggestions on how to improve the CameraPixels, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@camerapixels.app

==================
Welcome the new CameraPixels. Rewritten from the ground up using the latest Swift version and iOS frameworks. The best professional photography app just became even better!
What's new in CameraPixels 2020.1
==========================
Close collaboration with professional photographers for the last year helped us considerably improve UI and UX of CameraPixels app. The app was completely rewritten using Swift 5 and the latest iOS frameworks. This made it possible to add clipping warnings and focus peaking features which tremendously help during the manual framing and capture. Since the histogram shows vital information of the current scene, we have improved it adding a full luminance real-time histogram calculator. It works in photo and video capture modes!
CameraPixels 2020.1 adds support for the latest iPhone models with multiple cameras. Now you can take advantage of the ultra-wide camera of iPhone 11 Pro. In this release, we also added improved Portrait mode with enhanced processing options (Smart HDR or Deep fusion on supported devices).
Presets were always an integral part of CameraPixels and version 2020.1 adds a possibility to specify output album for captured media. The album must exist before it can be chosen for a preset (you can create albums in Photos app). One of the most requested features during the development of CameraPixels 2020.1 was the ability to add custom preset to Today's widget for quick access. We heard you loud and clear, now you can choose any capture mode or preset to be placed on Today widget!
CameraPixels was always known for its best on iOS bracketing. We took it a few steps further by adding an option of a flash frame to the exposure bracket. For macro photographers, we added an option of the combined bracket (exposure + focus) for ultimate results! For supported devices enhanced processing in focus bracket can also help with complicated lighting.
Multi-shot capture mode was renamed to Slow shutter. We also added HDR option on supported devices to improve results in difficult lighting conditions. And for those who plan to create night timelapse videos, we added support for the full intervalometer!
Video and timelapse modes now also have HDR option on supported devices. CameraPixels 2020.1 also adds support for HEVC codec on devices/cameras that support it. The video capture mode gains support for the total video duration.
The whole list of changes and improvements is too long, therefore here we mention only the most important ones:
- UI and UX were optimized for manual capture in close collaboration with the professional photographers (thanks!)
- The app was rewritten using the Swift 5 and latest iOS frameworks
- Added support for the latest iPhone models with multiple cameras
- Added portrait capture mode
- Improved live histogram
- Added album selection for presets (album must exist, can be created in Photo app)
- Added enhanced processing option (Smart-HDR or Deep fusion on supported devices)
- Added clipping warnings
- Added focus peaking
- Added Today widget setup. Now you can add even custom presets there
- Added flash option for exposure bracket
- Added enhanced processing to focus bracket
- Added combined option (exposure + focus bracket)
- Added HDR option in slow shutter mode on supported devices
- Added support for full intervalometer in slow shutter mode
- Added HDR option in timelapse and video capture modes
- Added total video duration in video capture mode
